Small Town Gardener is a FINALIST in the Better Homes and Gardens Blogger Awards

Very excited to be notified that STG has been selected as a top ten finalist in the Gardening category for the second annual Better Homes and Gardens Blogger Awards! Finalists were chosen by Better Homes and Gardens from over 3,000 reader entries!

Thank you for all the voting you did last week.  Though STG didn’t win, it was a fantastic surprise to be nominated!  The two winning blogs were The Horticult (editor’s choice), coming out of my old stomping ground, Southern California, and Digging (reader’s choice), which hails from sunny Texas.  Congrats to Chantal & Ryan and Pam! I look forward to seeing more of their gardens in the season ahead!

Went to the BHG blog contest website. Could not find STG listed! Is it on the first page with the 10 blogs listed? Or under a name different from STG?

Thanks for taking a moment to vote Maritta – I’m sorry you had trouble. The category for gardening starts on Monday the 23rd, and until then, the fashion and beauty category will be first at that link and you must vote in it or “skip this category.” I’ve changed my link to read “Almost” Time to Vote 🙂 I hope you go back next week – readers can vote as many times as they wish and the editors of BHG will also pick their choice. Very exciting!
